Counseling and Psychology Association (CAPA)

The Counseling and Psychology Association (CAPA) is a student-led organization that focuses on providing scheduled events that emphasize relevant and current topics within the field of counseling and psychology for students enrolled in those programs, as well as the greater student body.

 

Plan of Action

  • Facilitate two professional development events per academic year, as well as host seminars and panels regarding mental health, self-care, and other relevant topics.
  • Plan and organize two community outreach service projects per academic year.
  • Host two school-wide social gatherings per academic year to promote our association and raise mental health awareness.

As President of this association, it has been a privilege and an honor to see the growth and the impact of the Psychology community at Criswell College. CAPA is a great representation of psychology and theology coming together, and a gracious reminder of our Lord’s heart for restoration and healing.
