We are here to help! The Marketing and Communications Department at Criswell promotes all facets of the college. Through various channels, our department creates compelling and strategic marketing and communications materials.

We are also here to help your department reach its goals. We are excited to partner with you in highlighting and promoting the wonderful things happening in your corner of Criswell College.

Marketing and Communications Services

To request a service, click on the blue button to download the Marketing & Communications Service Request Form. Available services are described below. For each service, contact information is provided for the person to whom you will need to send the request form. For communications projects that you plan to complete yourself, please consult the resources included further below.

Branding

The Marketing and Communications Department provides oversight of the College’s brand image. This involves logos, colors, fonts, taglines, and guidelines for writing copy, as well as maintaining a consistent image of personality and culture. We can help ensure that your project is consistent with the brand.

Creative Brainstorming

The Marketing and Communications staff are available as a creative resource for you. We can help you think through the promotional aspects of your project, from start to finish and anywhere in between.

Design

Please contact the Marketing and Communications Department if your design project requires our department’s oversight. For projects that don’t require our involvement, we are still happy and available to help, or you can fly solo using the design guidelines found below.

Internal Communications

The Marketing and Communications Department keeps the campus community informed about events, faculty and staff accomplishments, and other relevant information. If you have something you would like us to highlight in our monthly newsletter or elsewhere, we would love to hear from you.

Media Relations

The Marketing and Communications Department regularly writes news releases concerning information relevant to the College and is responsible for coordinating the college’s relationship with media outlets. Please let us know of any events or achievements you would like covered with a news article or press release.

Photography

The Marketing and Communications Department coordinates photography services on location for portraits, events, and general marketing. We provide in-house photography services and also work with outside professionals. We can help you arrange photography services that meet your particular needs.

Proofing and editing

The Marketing and Communications Department offers proofing and editing services for departmental design and writing projects. Some projects require this service, but for those that don’t we have also compiled a set of resources to guide your own work, which you can find below. The guidelines below also specify which services require proofing and editing services.

Social Media

The Marketing and Communications Department, using various social media platforms, maintains the Criswell story through video, photography, and messages. The department develops and implements quarterly social media communication plans for all college social media channels, but individual requests can be submitted using the form above.

Video

The Marketing and Communications department coordinates video services on behalf of the college. We provide in-house video services for smaller projects and work with external videographers to provide services for more substantial projects.

Website

The Marketing and Communications Department provides oversight for the college’s website. Updates to the website are made through quarterly website checks, which we initiate for you. However, in the case of an emergency, ad hoc updates can be submitted using the service request form above.
