Criswell College Announces Lance E.L. Ouellette as New Vice President of Advancement
DALLAS, TX — Criswell College is pleased to announce the appointment of Lance E.L. Ouellette as its new Vice President of Advancement. Lance began his role in October 2024, bringing a wealth of professional, academic, and ministry experience to this critical leadership position.
Ouellette previously served the College as Registrar, where he played a vital role in stabilizing and enhancing Criswell’s student records system. He also guided students in navigating their degree plans and led Thrive Chapels, where students explored practical topics on theology, finances, personal discipline, and professional opportunities.
President Barry Creamer expressed enthusiasm regarding Lance’s appointment, saying, “Lance’s unique blend of business acumen, ministry passion, and academic dedication makes him a remarkable choice for this role. His heart for students and commitment to the mission of Criswell College will undoubtedly propel our advancement efforts forward.”
A Distinguished Career in Business, Ministry, and Education
Ouellette’s professional background spans various industries and leadership roles, including:
His ministry experience includes serving as a missionary with the Jericho Project in Catalonia, Spain, facilitating Life Groups at Parish Church in Denton, Texas, and volunteering in chaplaincy at the Dallas County Juvenile Facility with Pacific Youth Ministry. He has also served as a youth group leader at Irving Bible Church and as a home Bible study facilitator.
In addition to his ministerial and professional achievements, Ouellette is currently completing his thesis, the final step of a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. His educational journey includes graduating from the Chrysler Dealer-Principal Academy and earning a B.A. in Economics from Rollins College.
A Heart for Family and Community
Ouellette is married to Erin Ouellette, and together have been blessed with ten children. The Ouellette family’s commitment to faith and service is reflected in their active involvement in their home church and surrounding community.
As Vice President of Advancement, Ouellette will oversee strategic initiatives to strengthen partnerships, enhance donor engagement, maintain relationships with alumni, and support Criswell College’s mission to equip students to serve as Christian leaders in their communities and beyond.
