Criswell College Student Lounge Unveiling

Dallas, TX – September 9, 2011

On Thursday, August 28th, friends, students, and donors took part in the unveiling of the newly-remodeled Criswell Student Lounge.  Criswell College received a generous gift from Andy and Joan Horner, long-time supporters of the school, which provided students a fresh and exciting place to build community.  Andy Horner and his family were on campus to take part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

“I’m so glad God has provided for this remodeling project,” said Winston Hottman, an MDiv student at Criswell.  “This will allow for greater opportunities to build friendships with fellow students.”  The Criswell Student Lounge is fully-equipped with flat-screen TVs, wireless internet, ping-pong, foosball, and pool tables.  Students will enjoy a place to fellowship, eat lunch, play games, and just hang out together.

Criswell College is an accredited Christian college and graduate school in Dallas, Texas.  Criswell College was started by W.A. Criswell, long-time pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, to train men and women in biblical and theological studies to make an impact on the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
