A Note Regarding Fall Tuition

Dear Friends,

Our year is off to a great start! We are excited about what God has in store for us this year and the years to come. God has plans that exceed our wildest dreams, and we are both grateful and excited that you are on this adventure with us.

We need to inform you about the tuition adjustment that will take effect beginning with the 2014-2015 school year. In recent years, the college has not substantially increased tuition for its students. This strategy has mainly been due to the school’s desire to offer the best education at the best price. As a result your tuition pays about 1/3 of the cost of your education.

In order to continue to provide an excellent educational experience, our strategy must change. So, for the 2014-2015 year, undergraduate tuition will be $300/hour and graduate tuition will be $415/hour. This is a significant increase, but a necessary one. Frankly, our current tuition rates will not allow us to achieve the future endeavors that are best for you and for Criswell College.

Though annual tuition adjustments are common practice with most successful institutions, we are aware that this difference in tuition is very important to you. Every penny counts, and paying for college is no easy task. So we want to make clear to you that we are ready and willing to aid you in managing your tuition costs through financial aid, scholarships, and other avenues of assistance. We are here for you!

We do not want to keep any student from studying here at Criswell. This tuition adjustment is a way to enhance the educational experience of every student that we currently have and will have in the future. We believe this adjustment and the expansion of our undergraduate curriculum are an important step toward making Criswell College the institution God created us to be.

Please pray with us as we move forward and as we remain committed to the impact of God’s Word on your life—to whatever field and future He has called you. Thanks for being such a valuable part of the Criswell experience.

In his love,

Jimmy Draper
