Securities Transfer

Outright gifts of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual fund shares) can provide you with tax advantages. For assistance, please contact our Development Office at development@criswell.edu or by phone at 214.818.1387.

IRA Charitable Rollover

If you are at age 70½ or older and are the owner of an IRA, you can make tax-free IRA contributions directly to Criswell. For more information, please contact our Development Office at development@criswell.edu or by phone at 214.818.1387.

Donor Advised Fund Grant

Each charity administering donor advised funds has its own grant recommendation procedures. Criswell College is legally registered with the IRS with a tax ID (EIN) of 75-6114836. If you have any questions or concerns about donating through a DAF, please contact our Development Office at development@criswell.edu or by phone at 214.818.1387.

Real Estate

Gifts of residences, including vacation homes and farms, allow the donor to take a tax deduction, avoid capital gains taxes, retain lifetime occupancy for herself or himself and/or another person—and provide support for Criswell. To learn more about gifting real estate or to make a gift, please contact our Development Office at development@criswell.edu or by phone at 214.818.1387.

Personal Property

Gifts of tangible personal property, such as art, jewelry, antiques, rare books, gold or silver, offer the donor an immediate tax deduction; the amount depends on whether the gift is related to the college’s educational purpose. To make a gift of personal property, please contact our Development Office at development@criswell.edu or by phone at 214.818.1387.

Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a great way for Criswell College supporters to make the most of their personal contributions and maximize the impact of their gifts. By taking advantage of a company’s matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution.  If you work for a matching gift company, please contact your human resources or payroll department to take advantage of this opportunity.

Memorial Donations

When we receive a memorial gift in a person’s honor, Criswell College sends an acknowledgement to the family member you specify. Through the giving page, you can specify the memorial information. If you would prefer to make the gift over the phone, call us at 214.818.1387.

Non-Cash Gifts

Non-cash gifts are donations of assets other than cash such as: stock, real estate, equipment, etc. These gifts are valued by the donor and receipt acknowledged by Criswell College. Acceptance of gifts-in-kind often depends on the college’s ability to use the gift in accomplishing its mission.

Endowment Fund

Giving to the Endowment Fund is an ongoing investment in the college. Your gift will have a permanent impact on the college’s ability to produce leaders who can bring real transformation to the culture.

Capital Gifts

Capital gifts allow the college to achieve a greater potential to impact more lives today and in the future by improving and expanding the infrastructure of our campus. These updates are necessary in order to equip our professors and staff for their best work, and to create the kind of learning environment commensurate with the caliber of education we provide students.

If you would like additional information about giving to Criswell College, please contact our Development Office or call 214.818.1387.
