Ministry Placement

Ministry Placement Services recognizes the pivotal role of God’s sovereign will and direction in the lives of our graduates and current students. We never want to supersede the very real spiritual nature of calling and providential direction. Our goal is simply to offer one of many possible vehicles through which God may operate. For this reason, our procedures, counsel, and recommendations are seasoned with prayer for God’s distinct plan to be realized in the individuals who access our services.

Ministry Placement Services exists to:

• Expose the ministry candidacy of alumni and current students to those churches and Christian organizations that intentionally request search information from our college
• Direct alumni and current students to potential resources outside our campus for church staff/ministry positions
• Assist alumni and current students with résumé and document preparation and interview procedures
• Offer training and information useful for ministry development and preparation for placement interviews. The term “placement” reflects our goal of seeing God’s clear direction in placing our alumni and current students in an active, supportive Christian ministry. We do not assume the actual role or responsibility of “placing” or appointing anyone in a ministry position.

Student Prayer Requests

"praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints..." (Ephesians 6:18, NKJV)

This is a place where you can come to share your prayer requests and special concerns and needs with others who will pray for you. Prayer is a valuable part of the Criswell experience. It is not uncommon to see students and faculty in prayer throughout the day. Let us know how we can specifically pray for you. It is a precious privilege to pray for one another, and it is a powerful way that we can watch our Lord work together. If you have a prayer request or need immediate prayer, contact the Student Life Office.
