  • Fred MacDonald (1996) Denise and I were appointed by NAMB last year. I am now serving with the Dakota Baptist Convention state staff. I am the Sending Missionaries strategist for the state (mission education and partnerships, student ministries, disaster relief) and the regional missionary for eastern North Dakota. We have moved to Devils Lake, ND. Lots of travel now but I'm enjoying it. Have a great summer.
  • Jason Valleau (2004) Hello friends and alumni of Criswell College! In March of this year I started working with an audio Bible translation ministry called Rhema for the Nations. As the development officer, I speak to individuals, churches, and whomever God brings me in contact with to share our ministry vision of reaching the illiterate and oral-tradition peoples of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I travelled to India to see the need first-hand and this cemented my resolve to get the word out about the work we do at Rhema. Do I learn the language and then tell them? Do I write out a language for them? No, on both accounts. We use translators that already know the language and digitally record the New Testament in the heart-language of the people we are trying to reach. We complete a full New Testament in just 2 ½ years! We load up our specially designed Mp3 player, Shofar, with the audio Scriptures and begin the disciple-making process. We are strategically partnered with Wycliffe Bible Translators and Campus Crusade for Christ. Has the Lord put an unreached or unengaged people group on your heart?
  • Andrew Sobities (2010) Congratulations to Andrew Sobities!  On July 11, 2010, Calvary Baptist Church in Hamilton, TX ordained Andrew for the ministry.  While attending Youth Camp at age 14, Andrew received his call to ministry. After preaching his first sermon, in 2006, the Lord confirmed his call to be a pastor. Please be in prayer for Andrew as he carries forth Dr. Criswell's vision, "This above all else the saving of the lost."
