Advising

Academic Advising is designed to help students make progress toward their educational and career goals. Although advising is a shared responsibility between the academic advisor and student, it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to create a plan and make decisions to meet educational goals.

Each Criswell College student is assigned an individual academic advisor. Advisors assist students by helping them understand options, locate resources and, when necessary, identify alternatives. Students are welcome to set up appointments with their advisors or stop by during office hours. During official registration for Fall and Spring semesters students meet with a faculty member who can help them prepare schedules for the upcoming semester. Students may contact the Registrar’s Office to find the name of their specific advisor.
