The Criswell College exists to provide biblical, theological, professional and applied education on both the undergraduate and graduate levels, based on an institutional commitment to biblical inerrancy, in order to prepare men and women to serve in Christian ministries as pastors, counselors, missionaries and church staff members.

The purpose of the CWC shall be to support the purpose and interests of Criswell College as provided for in its bylaws. For the foundation of prayer and spiritual commitment, the organization will seek to increase enrollment, friends, and funds for the college. The Auxiliary will endeavor to do this in three areas: (1) enhance the physical environment of the campus, (2) promote the welfare of the students, faculty and staff of the college, and (3) to promote college awareness.
Founded in November of 1998, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention established missions and evangelism as the major emphasis. Their doctrinal foundation is based on a belief in the inerrancy of Scripture, the relational aspect of the first person of the Godhead as Father, exclusivity of salvation in Jesus Christ, and the primacy of the local church.
The SBTC exists to facilitate, extend and enlarge the Great Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist churches and associations of Texas, upon the authority of God's inerrant Word to the glory of God the Father, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
